1. 调羹;匙；小勺子
    A spoon is an object used for eating, stirring, and serving food. One end of it is shaped like a shallow bowl and it has a long handle.

    e.g. He stirred his coffee with a spoon.
           他用一把小勺搅着自己的咖啡。

2. 一匙之量
    You can refer to an amount of food resting on a spoon as a spoon of food.

    e.g. ...tea with two spoons of sugar.
           放了两匙糖的茶

3. 用匙舀取
    If you spoon food into something, you put it there with a spoon.

    e.g. He spooned instant coffee into two of the mugs...
           他舀了几勺速溶咖啡放进两个杯子中。
    e.g. Spoon the sauce over the meat.
           用调羹将调味汁浇在肉上。

    If you think that someone has a lot of advantages because they have a rich or influential family, you can say that they have been born with a silver spoon in their mouth .

    e.g. She was born with a silver spoon in her mouth and everything has been done for her.
           她出生于富贵人家，什么事都已为她安排得好好的。
