    A troop is a group of soldiers within a cavalry or armoured regiment.

    A troop of boy scouts is a local group of them that meets regularly.

    e.g. …a Scout troop.

4. 一群;一队
    A troop of people or animals is a group of them.

    e.g. Amy was aware of the little troop of travellers watching the two of them...
           埃米知道那一小队旅行者正在看着她们俩。
    e.g. Out of beams and cracks came troops of beetles, ants and spiders.

5. (常指疲惫或忧伤地)成群移动，结队前行
    If people troop somewhere, they walk there in a group, often in a sad or tired way.

    e.g. They all trooped back to the house for a rest...

    e.g. The men trooped into work with resignation.
           男人们被迫只好一伙伙地开始工作。
